SECURED

     Another epiphany. Well, I am a sinner, that's given. And, it is a fact. This afternoon I committed a sin, a major sin that has placed a frown on our Heavenly Father's face. Again. I am not proud of what I did. I'm not. and there again, I felt empty and unworthy. Another sin, another temptation, another challenge. It's crazy how these things keeps on happening to us. Day in and day out, sinning happens. Consistently. It's sad. I am just so humbled by how GREAT GOD is in our life. How merciful HE is. How loving and most of all FORGIVING. Despite the things that I've done to hurt HIM, There HE is, still willing to comfort me, still willing to forgive me, still willing to call me HIS Princess. Yes, I can still hear HIM calling me HIS princess, isn't that sweet? do I deserve it? No, not at all. But HE still gives me HIS love. He still chooses me. Why? because He is GOD. And that's what HE wants to remind us all today. HE LOVES US and that HIS 
HIS mercies are new every morning:


Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness -Lamentations 3:22-23

     Yes, dear friends, that is how good HE is. His mercy is new every morning. but of course, as HIS children, we should not take advantage of that fact by continuously sinning and doing whatever we want even though we know that it displeases and hurts HIM when we sin. The thing is, GOD has creatd this "Circle of Safety" wherein HE wants us to stay so that we, as HIS children won't get hurt and that we would always be near and with HIM 24/7. The problem is, we HIS children have this tendency to sneak out once our mischievous side takes over us. Well, let me tell you, from a personal level that our "stubborn" part is the way  Satan lures us in his side until we decide to play on the wrong side of the court by going out of GOD's circle of safety.

   This happens, a LOT and that is usually the times we sin and feel this overwhelming feeling of regret and pain that we refuse to run towards GOD wherein we are indeed always welcome. This happens. A Lot. It happened to me a few hours ago, and you know what? I regretted every moment GOD was out of my reach. I honestly felt lost, empty, alone and numb. I did. It hurt me, BIG TIME. But you know what? It hurt GOD even more, the pain I caused HIM is a gazillion times hurtful than what I caused myself to feel. But HE promised me that HE LOVES me no matter what, He reminded me that I am HIS Princess and most of all, HE told me that I belong to HIM. Forever and Always. He told me that HE loves me no matter what. He always has and HE always will. This goes for not just me but for all of us. 


"neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." -Romans8:39

   Of course, knowing these things are very reassuring and well, it makes me feel kilig :) but I also could not help but ask HIM, what I should do the next time I'm tempted again, Cause I know that it will happen, that's for sure. And thankfully, He has an answer for that too:

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." -Jeremiah 29:13
   
    Now, that doesn't get any better than that. As always, in any time, in any day, even in times of doubt and temptation; SEEK HIM. Because once we SEEK HIM, we will FIND HIM :) Isn't HE just the sweetest? You/We are SECURED in HIS PRESENCE.

LUST

Okay, this time, this post is a bit different before. It's actually more of a revelation. A huge revelation. It's about Lust. One of the most common sins known to mankind. Something that is sadly now accepted in society, in stories, in movies, in tv shows and now, in books.

Although, this post may reach a bunch of haters, I know, but it has to be said. Lust is a SIN. That is a fact. Everyone knows that it is wrong, but for some reason people are pushing this to be something "hot" "trending and accepted. Why? One word. Deception. It is sad to know that Lust or premarital sex is something that is just frowned upon and not being seen as something wrong and impure. Yes, I understand that it entices people, it makes people feel good, but not everything that makes us feel good is right. Instead of seeing sex as something beautiful and intimate, it is being viewed as a happy pill that anyone everywhere can take anytime it's handy. In fact, the loss of one's virginity is now being viewed as a right of passage like prom or graduation. No. Losing your virginity is far beyond a "right of passage", it does not make anyone lame or a loser if you're a virgin. Purity is something that we all should preserve until we walk down the aisle and give it to someone who decides to commit to us till our last dying breath. Now, listen, I am NOT legalistic. I'm not basing this on some sort of rules, nor am I being a prude. It just saddens me that being sexually active is something that makes people "cool". The stereo-type of being handsome is based on how much women he slept with, and for women, the basis of her being a good girlfriend is based on how good she is in bed. No. Having multiple sexual partners or being "experienced" should not be a huge factor on how faithful a person can be in a relationship. A relationship is about trust and respect. Love is about Trust and Respect and not giving into your parter's lustful cravings from you.

One of the things that saddens me the most is how accepted these things are now a days. Seriously, it's disturbing enough to have these things on tv and movies, but now, it seems to be trending on book series? and the basis of a media of a tv show, movie or book being a quality product is based on how much sex is included? I admit, I do watch HIMYM, New Girl, 2 Broke Girls and as such, that is why I know how much "sex" is involved in these tv shows and it seems that a media product is not complete if there is nothing sexy included. It's just sad. It is. I mean, there was this one show, PARTNERS which is really hilarious! I loved it, pure comedy and it deals with modern life, but after a few episodes, it was cancelled. Why? lack of viewers. Honestly, it is a really REALLY good show, composed with great directors, brilliant writers and effectively awesome actors. Seriously, I am a fan. but just because it does not have anything to do with sex, people refuse to watch it and ignores the fact that it is witty, funny, clever and smart? Come on. It's ridiculous. Now, there's this other show, ALPHAS. Another mind-boggling brilliant show! It deals with people, well, Special people with mild autism, mental retardation, deaf, mute, autistic, OCD, ADHD and the like which are considered as ALPHAS because they possess this special ability to see things that a normal person can't. Interesting, right? well, unfortunately, it was cancelled. Another good work gone to waste because society refused to watch something that does not involve sex. It's sad.

Now, we go with the ever famous 50 shades of gray. I'll be honest, I have never read it. Before I read any trending book, I do my research first, it's just sad that something so shallow can be so popular because it seems to be accepted by society now, and it is being made into a movie? Seriously? there are a LOT of books, GREAT and BRILLIANT books that are movie worthy but still choose to stay on bookstore shelves, but just because certain books involves sex, that's made into a movie??? It frustrates me, QUALITY CHECK. Please.

The reason why I was so eager to write this because as I was going through FB, one of my friends posted a status about Gideon. I have no idea who Gideon is. I thought he was the character from Criminal Minds, but upon doing my research, I found out that, apparently, he is the new christian gray. Another novel that promotes sex and connects lust with love. Listen up, Lust and Love does not go hand in hand. It never has, and it never should. It's just a form of deception to sin. Love is not based on Lust or the other way around.

Sex is a gift from GOD, just like Marriage. If Marriage is the union of two souls, sex is the union of the bodies. That's why there's so much passion and pleasure involved. Please do not take this the wrong way and think that I am not for romance. God is for romance, HE is the author of romance. He created us from scratch, HE made no mistake when HE included the desire and longing within us. But HE loves us, that's why HE wants us to stay within HIS path to protect us and make sure that we won't get harmed. Sex beyond the presence of God can harm us. He created it for husband and wife. It is not something that should be trending, in, hip, or popular. It is not based on society, it is based on GOD. It should be done with the right person and in the right time.     As always it has been a while since my last post. Sorry, not enough time. Things has been so busy lately. Really. and I know that it is wrong. I know my purpose and boasting about GOD is one of the major things in my purpose. I have had my strong share of revelations lately. and this, what I am about to write about is just one of them. I honestly feel like a thief. I have been blessed with revelations from our Father, and yet, I only share to a number of people, and these are the people at work when in fact, the internet, blogs and social networking sites are a HUGE HUGE and EASY way to share HIS word. HIS revelations and HIS messages. That stops now. I will make it a point that I will be posting as much as I can, that is my commitment. What is the use of being a so called "passionate writer" if I don't write, it isn't fair. It isn't fair to me, my passion, my purpose and it isn't fair to GOD because, well, HE gave me this gift, this passion, and yet I don't use it as often as I should to give HIM glory? Come on, there's definitely something wrong with me, but that is about to change.
    Anyhoo, going back to my main "theme" which is the song "ALL FOR LOVE" I purposely added the title first for this post just so I wouldn't go off track. I know that this song is really really well-known by many of us, but there's this one part of the song that really pierces my heart every time I hear, read and see it.

  Seriously, in my twenty-two years of existence; The times of when I have broken HIS heart is countless. Heck, everyday, I sin. Everyday, I make a mistake. Everyday, I break HIS heart. and these are not just once a day, several times a day, I hurt HIM. I now understand that it's like taking a piece of HIS heart, a piece of who HE is off from HIM, and not just taking it away but actually, torturing and ripping that piece off from HIM. This is what I do every time I sin. Every time I cringe, I make a rude comment, every time I offend someone, every time I feel insecure, every time I compare myself to others, every time I complain, every time I doubt, every time I fear, every time I allow emotions to take over me, each time I feel frustrated, every time I forget what is right (even if it is just for a split second). . . every time I hurt myself, every time I give in to lies and I lose sight of who HE wants me to be, HIS identity in me, I know that it hurts HIM deeply, It's more than constantly pulling out strands of HIS hair, tearing off pieces of HIS skin, I am actually slashing, scoring, ripping off pieces of HIS heart. One by one, bit by bit, inch by inch, one part after another. I cannot even imagine enduring that kind of pain every day by every single person I love. but despite my actions, even if I do that, HE endures it, HE STILL AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE ME. At this point, I am unsure of a lot of things, it is my purging season, but I honestly have never felt this SURE and SECURE about anything in my life. Despite those things, HE LOVES ME. HE LOVES US.

      It's those things, sin. Sometimes, well, rather, MOST OF THE TIME, We are actually aware that we are doing something wrong, but why do we still do it? Why do I still do it? It's because I/we choose not to listen and not to hear HIM. We brush HIM off each time we sin. Before every action that we do, the HOLY SPIRIT actually convicts us and tells us not to do it, Admit it, you had these "moments", right? Just when you are about to sin, you suddenly drift to the other path. HE LIVES in US. We are once apart from HIM because of sin, but because of HIS unconditional agape LOVE, HE is now a part of us as we are a part of HIM.

   Think of it this way, now, I am NO SCIENTIST NOR A CARDIOLOGIST but a HEART has a LOT of parts, right? all the veins, muscles and whatnot. Now, each part of the heart represents each of us. And each time we sin or drift away or even attempt to go back to that once cold, numb and dark place where we are before, we are forcefully gashing out a piece of HIM. God said so Himself that we belong to HIM and that we are a part of HIM, so if we drift away, we are hurting HIM. Can you imagine ripping out or pulling out a piece of your skin? it's would hurt, right? sometimes it would bleed. Now, can you really imagine doing that to that ONE BEING who TRULY LOVES YOU. Can you really tear and rip off a piece of HIS heart because you just wanted to and Knowing the fact that no matter how many times we hurt HIM and break HIS heart, HE still loves us? HE will NEVER hate us, it is not who HE is, hate is not part of HIM. HE is LOVE.  Let's ask HIM to forgive us. HE LOVES US. AND HE WILL FOREVER LOVE US. HE IS THE EPITOME OF LOVE. ♥ Let's just go back to HIM. Run back to HIM. He's waiting...

Ricochet

"Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy&find grace to help us in our time of need."-Hebrews 4:16

  In moments when we feel like crying, heavily burdened&alone, call on to God. Most of the time, we think that what we need is someone to talk to so we could feel somewhat lighter/better, today, God reminded me that all we really need to do is pray.GOD should be our number one priority, our number one partner in anything&everything. So, PRAY.

   Sometimes we have this weird concept about prayer should be done during our quiet time or at church.No, we can talk to HIM any time.During His time on earth, Jesus prayed. He entrusted everything to God through prayer, even His reputation&life. We can do the same. We don't have to explain all the problems to Him; we can just give them to Him&ask Him to take care of everything.No need for a flowery prayer,Just have confidence in simple, believing prayer. Look at Paul's instructions in Philippians 4:6-7 (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.). Instead of worrying, simply pray&ask God for help when you find yourself in a difficult situation.God is faithful,that's one of His major characteristics.

   So trust Him totally& completely. Any time;any day, just pray :) Enjoy the throne of Grace!

FEAR

   One of the things that we all feel is fear. Fear of both the known and unknown. Right now, this is what's striking me. Fear.

   Sadly, the enemy thinks that he's got me by injecting this feeling in me. Wrong! Of course not. I've got my God. My protector, my provider, my strength. He will never leave me alone or lead me astray. It's all part of HIS grand and mighty plan! There are instances where in the enemy deceives me in relying on my own strength which technically does NOT exist without GOD. That' s how he sometimes use pride that leads me to depression when all else fails. See, I/we have to be reminded that GOD is with us and every single thing that we do is part of HIS plan. The question is, are we willing to follow, obey and humble ourselves before HIM?

    Humility goes a long way. Since our first encounter with God, humbling ourselves before God brings us a step closer to salvation and freedom. Repenting and acknowledging that we are sinners and that we are nothing apart from Him. It says in 1Peter5:5 that:

"In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,'God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.'" -1 Peter 5:5

    Humility is a covering that draws the help of God into our lives to protect us. When we humble ourselves by saying, "God, I don't know what to do, and I'm trusting You," He will help us. The sooner we understand and accept that, the sooner God can work out His plan in our lives.

   Fear comes from pride. Humility crushes pride. And FAITH cancels fear. Main point? Hold on to God. Trust and Have FAITH. That's more than enough for a lifetime :)
